Pre-K4 students, parents celebrate during graduation ceremony

Parents, friends, staff and the superintendent celebrated the graduation of 154 pre-kindergarten students during a morning ceremony at the Stafford Civic Center.

Donning yellow caps and gowns, the students entertained the audience by reciting "The Learner's Creed" and impressed the attendees by naming all 50 states under the direction of Ms. Laquita White and the 44 U.S. presidents under the direction of Ms. Karla Woods.

Other performances included "Ugly Ducking" (Ms. Elizabeth Ramos), "I Am But a Small Voice" (Ms. Laarni Ancheta), "Thank You" (Ms. Maria Christina Advincula), "Yesterday's Dream" (Ms. Eden De Vera), and "A Beautiful Day" (Ms. Marites Francisco). Assistant Director Ms. Melissa Cluff delivered the presentation for candidates for graduation and Superintendent M. Annette Cluff awarded the diplomas.

The mistress of ceremonies was Ms. Alyne Carter.

Enthusiastic parents took pictures before, during and after the event and it was a festive day for everyone.

The Learner's Creed
By Ernestine Mitchell

I believe in myself and my ability to do my best at all times.
Just for today, I WILL LISTEN, I WILL SPEAK, I WILL FEEL,
I WILL THINK, I WILL READ, I WILL WRITE!
I will do all these things with one purpose in mind:
TO DO MY BEST, AND TO NOT WASTE THIS DAY,
FOR THIS DAY WILL COME NO MORE.
