Dear Parents,
Hurricane Harvey is forming in the Gulf of Mexico and the prediction is that the storm will make landfall sometime Friday evening. In the interest of safety for our students and staff, Varnett students will have an early release day on Friday. Dismissal time for students will be 2:00 PM on Friday, August 25, 2017. Please make certain that someone is at your child’s bus stop to pick them up an hour earlier than usual.
We will continue to monitor the situation on Friday and make a decision regarding Monday at that time.
