Parents tour classrooms, meet teachers during Open House

About 200 parents and students attended the first Open House at the Southwest Campus for the 2010-11 school year.

Activities included touring the classrooms and mixing and mingling. Campus Director Dora Morrow greeted the parents and introduced the curriculum coordinators and assistant director. Teachers welcomed the parents into their classrooms and answered questions. The parents enjoyed hot dogs, chips and punch.

“This event gives the parents the opportunity to become familiar with the schedules and daily activities that are part of their child’s school day,” Mrs. Morrow said.
