Parents/guardians, remember to check your child’s take-home folder daily, be sure to contact the front desk with changes to your telephone number or address and be sure to send students in the correct uniform every day. You may refer to our website www.varnett.org for updates and important information.
- Monday, January 15, 2018: In observance of the Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, school will be closed. School will resume Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
- Basketball practice begins January 17, 2018, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Practice will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Friday, January 26, 2018: Parent Teacher Conferences will be held. There will be NO SCHOOL for students. Please contact your child’s teacher(s) to set up the meeting.
- Parents, please plan to attend our next Parent Empowerment session. Your attendance is extremely important for the session entitled “Power of Follow Through Play.” It will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018. The session will be conducted in the Southwest Library.
