Southwest hosted Literacy Night on Wednesday, with parents and students learning different ways to read through games.
The campus library was also open for business during Book Fair Week.
Parents who attended were given flyers and tips to help their children read, such as:
- Look at books/read to self
- Share a book/read to someone else
- Listen to someone read aloud
- Talk about books and words/tell stories
- Write and/or draw
