Daddy/Daughter Dance on night before Valentine's Day

Nearly 60 fathers and male figures turned out for a Daddy/Daughter Dance at the Southwest campus on the eve of Valentine's Day.

Varnett staff presented flowers to fathers to be given to their daughters in many touching moments throughout the evening.

"It was meaningful to get the fathers with the daughters outside of an academic setting," said Mr. Jesse Arps, the campus director.

Each family also had the opportunity to pose for pictures. The entire evening "is something they will look back on 10 to 20 years from now and they will have wonderful memories," Mr. Arps said.

Thanks to those who turned out in making this evening very special at The Varnett Public School.
