Varnett Public School Employees,
During the month of May different days and weeks are designated to show appreciation for teachers, nurses, principals and others. Employee appreciation is celebrated in March. The coronavirus pandemic has limited face to face interaction and limited the ways that I can express my appreciation for each of you. I am therefore declaring the month of May as not only Employee Appreciation month but also Essential Worker Appreciation month. I view each of you as essential and a vital part of keeping our students emotionally safe and providing as much learning as possible. I know your job is not easy as you deal with
keeping your family safe and providing home learning for your own kids.
