The Southwest Campus library will host a book fair Oct. 11-15 when more than 1,500 books will be available for teachers, parents and students.
Pencils, erasers, posters, bookmarks and other school-related items will also be on sale.
The books are provided by the Scholastic Store, which holds fairs in schools across the country.
Proceeds from the sales are reinvested in materials for the library, such as books, audio and video equipment.
While students may find books for their own education and entertainment, teachers may buy them as well to use for classroom instruction.
Varnett hopes everybody takes advantage of this book fair opportunity.
