Mr. Donald Jackson, the fourth- and fifth-grade science teacher at the Northeast campus, had the highest teacher usage of STEMscopes at The Varnett Public School for the month of March. We thank Mr. Jackson for using STEMscopes for instruction to keep students engaged in a rigorous curriculum.
Ms. Urania Chambers, the fifth-grade science teacher at the Southwest campus, had the most consistent student usage of STEMscopes in the district for the month of March. We commend Ms. Chambers for her dedication to having students engaged in a rigorous curriculum.
STEMscopes is a supplemental science curriculum designed to guide students through the 5E model of science content. STEMscopes promotes student inquiry and real-world understanding of science, engineering, technology, and mathematics through hands-on and online experiences.
