Campus celebrates "Christmas Around the World"

Hundreds of students, parents and staff braved the cool weather and celebrated "Christmas Around the World" under a huge tent on Dec. 7.

Students thrilled the crowd as they danced, read passages and sang songs such as "Jingle Bell Rock," "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," and "Silent Night."

The crowd then branched out to explore and take pictures of the "Christmas Around the World" displays in an acknowledgment to multi-culturalism. Countries that wre represented were Jamaica, The Philippines, Denmark, Mexico, South Korea, China, Taiwan. France, Japan, Singapore, Nigeria, Panama, Italy, United Kingdom and, of course, the United States.

The evening would not have been complete without Santa Claus, who drew the attention of dozens of kids who posed for pictures with the jolly ol' man.
