Varnett Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration - Southwest Campus

Each year the Varnett Public School takes pride in celebrating our students’ heritage. This event commemorates the Mexican army's 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). A relatively minor holiday in Mexico, Cinco de Mayo in the United States has evolved into a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage.

Please join us on May 5th from 9:30 am To 1:00 p.m. as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
