The Southwest Campus Thursday served beef tacos, pinto beans, fruit and milk in commemoration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. Parents were invited to eat lunch with their children in the campus cafeteria.
The lunch was a success, with roughly 82 parents coming to the campus to meet their children. The music was nice, with had staff and students singing and dancing to the music. Everyone really enjoyed the environment and the food. The cafeteria was nicely decorated which made the event even more enjoyable!
