Research shows that increased instructional time has a beneficial effect on student learning.
After a thorough review of 2017-18 preliminary achievement data for Grades K-7, and input from school directors and the superintendent, the Board of Directors approved lengthening the school day by 35 minutes for all students.
Effective August 20, 2018, school hours for students will be 8:00 a.m.– 3:50 p.m.
✓ Breakfast 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
✓ School hours 8:00 a.m. – 3:50 p.m.
✓ Buses will depart at 4:00 p.m.
✓ After-School Activities 4:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.
